To Vote Or Not To Vote

Today I’m going to talk about to vote or not to vote, a topic very important nowadays. This sunday we go to vote for choose at the next mayor and a group of the councillors in every municipality of country. In my case this is the first time that I'm going to vote in the commune election. My polling place is the school called Marcela Paz, in San Bernardo.

I think it is important to vote because each vote matters for a democratic election. Every vote received is the reflect the will of the people.

All citizen over 18 years old have the right to vote, although Chile switched its voting system, a voluntary vote rather than mandatory and automatic enrollment. With this new reform in the electoral system you don't feel obligated to vote, you are free to choose, between to vote or not to vote. Although, I don't understand the indifference of some citizen, they are not planning to vote at all on October 28, maybe they think that your vote is not going to make a difference, anyway, i consider that not to vote is a wasted vote.

It's up to us to choose who we want as leader of our municipality. My recommendation for this sunday is to vote for  the best candidate (in your opinion), someone who will actually do things to improve the situation of place where you live. For this reason is it worth to vote this sunday. Every vote matters. So, let's vote!

My Hobby

Hi! Today I'm going to talk about my favorite hobby, riding a bicycle.

I have used the bicycle for many years, when i was five years old. I remember at that  moment, my father gave me my first bicycle. It was red and had small wheels at the sides because i did'nt know how to ride a bycycle, i only was a little beginner, It was very easy with a little practice, So I rode a bicycle for adults without small wheels on the sides.

I enjoy riding my bicycle because i feel free in the streets of my city, and too I can know the city of Santiago with this beautiful transport because I’m going one Sunday at month to the “bicipaseos patrimoniales”, through this thematic routes, i learn for example about of the history of the old architecture of Santiago or the  historic neighbourhoods like "Brasil", "Concha y Toro" and "Yungay", this are beautiful places, that you should visit someday.

Riding a bicycle has many advantages, for example; It is an environmentally friendly means of transport, it is good for health because cycling is a great method of exercise and Well Being because Having a bike and taking it out with friends to a park or on a cycle ride in the countryside you can effectively de-stress and relax. In conclusion with my bicycle i feel much better every day– Physically and Mentally.

Two videos: ''The Notebook'' and ''Pocoyo''

It's difficult to me choose two videos in particular for to upload in my blog, because the web is full of videos about anything topic. Generally I visit youtube for see videos, because in this web you can found millions of videos!! For example: music of videos, parts of series or movies, funny videos, cartoons.

Well i chose two videos, the first video is The Notebook trailer. This movie is a beautiful history about a poor and passionate young man falls in love with a rich young woman and gives her a sense of freedom. They soon are separated by their social differences. The end of the movie i will not tell you :P. But i can tell you that the history this movie is really romantic and beautiful for me, because Noah and Allie (the protagonists) loved each other much, since the first time that they saw.

Well i chose this second video for a special reason, my son! :) For my son this video is really funny. When we stay together he to ask me  watch this cartoon in my computer from youtube. He is very happy when watch Pocoyo, he can spend hours and hours watching this cartoon.

This video is about the adventures of Pocoyó and his friends. Pocoyo (the protagonist) is a little boy and your friends are Lula (a dog), Pato, Pajaroto and Elly (a elephant).

I think that cartoon is very nice n.n ...and ever that i watch it. I remember my son.

It's too hard to me to choose a picture, I love so much the photos and images. The picture I upload was taken by me. The place it's a location of a short film I work the last year. It's an old bar at Franklin's town, it's called "Bar Chiloé", but the people of the place called it "Where Don Hernán" like its propietary. I like this place because there are a popular traditions that are dissapearing with the time. There are parts of our culture but the progress is murder all those. The bar Chiloé is a old house build with adobe, and is decor with antiques things like furnitures, pictures, machines (for example an old and big freezer) and also antique people that often go to drink (all the day and all days). This is not my favourite picture, but I choose it because reflects the soul of the place and the atmosphere that you can find if you go to there. There are a TV, a wurlitzer, old pictures,the color of the wall, the shape of the door (is own of adobe construction) and the sentence: "ask here for the delicious pipeño". It's some nostalgic, but it's too a piece of popular history. After to all, you can enjoy a visit to Bar Chiloe drinking the chicha and the pipeño and laughing with your friends. And taken so many photos.

The activity to me was very interesting know many places for tourist and get to know new places to visit was fun and hard at once find all points on the subway as it is extensive. I got frustrated a bit because was difficult to find on websites entirely in English was a new experience for me and a very difficult.My vision of London completely changed after This activity places to known and where to go are much clearer now.

London is a city that certainly I have to know in the future. I've always liked the English culture and especially its artists. I would like to visit the tower of london and see with my own eyes the building's history and  The Crown Jewels part of the Royal Collection and still regularly used by The Queen discover the stories of royal Royal Beasts where exotic animals were in captivity for over 600 years and were given as royal gifts and meet all stories which are related of that place.

I also found very beautiful The Royal Botanic gardens for your lovely colors and all that means for the people of London and royalty.

I think that London has many historical and beautiful places to visit :)

My Favorite Hole

Well, as you know, the last Wednesday I spoke about the most amazing holes in the earth. This topic in my opinion is really interesting, above all for me that i am student of geography. Between the seven holes that i chosen for to expose in the class, one of these is my favorite. The reason of my election is due your beauty, amazing colors, and your rarity, because I haven't the certainty that exists elsewhere, really i don't know it. So without further ado! My favorite hole is ''The Morning Glory Pool''

Morning Glory Pool is a hot spring in the Upper Geyser Basin of Yellowstone National Park in the United States.The distinct color of the pool is because of the existence of heat-thriving bacteria making a stunning display of hues. The delicate blue water is created by thermophilic bacteria, which thrive in the pool’s searing heat.Over the years people threw coins, bottles and trash in the pool, reducing its flow and causing the red and orange bacteria to creep in from its edge, replacing the blue bacteria that thrive in the hotter water at the center of the pool. 

On a few rare occasions the Morning Glory Pool has erupted as a geyser, usually following an earthquake or other nearby seismic activity.  

Someday i would like visit to a Morning Glory Pool.

Avatar

Undoubtedly, one of my favorite movies is Avatar =). This movie is really wonderful!

I had the opportunity to see this film two half years ago (approximately).When my boyfriend invited to me at the cinema.

Avatar is a film directed and wrote by James Cameron (who also directed movies like The terminator, Aliens), that in my opinion is the Best film director of science fiction.

The movie starts getting into the strange planet called pandora. From the hand of an ex-marine Jake Sully. This former Marine is called to take the place of his brother died in pandora. light years is brought to this strange planet habited by humanoids called Na'vi. the trip is funded by a corporate interest in a mineral. Create the avatar program to unify the DNA Na'vi and the human and control an avatar this process it was easy to Jake Sully who is lost in his first expedition and is saved from death by Neytiri a beautiful female Na'vi, this changes everything. Jake is accepted into the clan and prepares to be one of them. Jack together with Neytiri begins to know this beautiful planet and begins to respect the lifestyle Na’vi. Soon realize that this is your place and shall defend of destructive human race. Jake learns fast and is preparing to defend Pandora only with bows and arrows and loves for his new home of the powerful U.S. military. Who narrowly missed winning the battle thanks to a desperate call for help of Jack to Eywa the goddess of the Na'vi. Who send unexpected help at the last moment of the battle.

I like this movie because show it like the people of Pandora have a wonderful relationship with your planet, particularly the love to nature.
